The Milano Showcase is a festival where students come together for a day full of dance with professional performances and a gala dinner. You are given constructive feedback from the judges, who are there to help you and your teacher improve your dancing.

Do you like dancing? If so, you won't want to miss the Arthur Murray Milano Showcase. Attendees can expect a day of social dancing, professional performances and lots of fun!
Many dancers worry about performing in front of an audience. The key to truly having fun and performing to the best of your ability is to become desensitized to dancing in front of people.
The fastest way to gain confidence in your dancing is to attend our Showcase. It offers students of all levels the opportunity to dance outside the studio, in a social environment and in front of a crowd, but without the stress of performing in a professional competition. Judges give participants written feedback on their dance but there is no “competitive” pressure: students are not judged against each other and all criticism is confidential. Instead of comparing you to other dancers, they will give you feedback to show how well you performed based on your current level. Your instructor will then work with you to help you implement their critiques. Together, you will brainstorm and share ideas for the next chapter of your dance journey.
Showcase Daytime. The day portion consists of dance demonstrations structured in rounds called heats, which last approximately one minute and 10". Each heat represents a type of dance (e.g. tango, waltz) in which several student-teachers or student-student pairs perform perform simultaneously on the dance floor. Additionally, students have the opportunity to present a solo.
Showcase Gala Night . The show ends with a dinner and a party with special surprises where all the participants and their guests relax and dance with each other. The Showcase is a great opportunity to gain confidence in your dancing. As you become a more advanced dancer, Showcases start to have additional benefits – it becomes a great short to medium term goal to work towards. Be sure to mark the date in your calendar and join us for a day of dancing fun! After all, it's simply a very special way to celebrate: dressing up, dancing your favorite dances and enjoying good company!
